WR-Antonio Batista earns two team awards for 2019 season

CONGRATULATIONS to WR-Antonio Batista (Strong Vincent) on being named the Erie Express Most Improved offensive player for the 2019 season. For the season Ton recorded 734 total yards of offense. He hauled in 25 passes for 528 yards, 7 touchdowns and a trio of 2pt conversions. Batista added 47 yards and a TD on the ground and returned 7 kicks for 172 yards. On defense and special teams Ton recorded 26 tackles, 5 caused fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries and an interception. We also used Antonio from time to time as our kicker as well. Antonio led the GDFL during the playoffs with 2 touchdown receptions, finished the regular season ranked fifth with 332 yards receiving and was ranked fourth in receiving touchdowns with 4.
