The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of 3x All-Pro ATH-Lynn Townsend II (Kent State University) for the 2022 season. Lynn begins his first season with the Express and will look to earn a spot in the starting rotation in all phases of the game. 

Townsend was a 2yr letter winner at McKinley Technical School in Washington, DC. Upon graduation he played football and rugby for Kent State University. 

Lynn is an 8yr veteran at our level and has been named All-Pro 3x. He has played professionally for the Ohio Golden Knights, Ohio Gladiators and Canton Pitbulls. Townsend has helped lead 2 teams to their championship games (Pitbulls-PAFL and OGK-OFL) and won the OFL Championship with OGK.
