ATH-Mark Johnson returns for 2022

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of ATH-Mark Johnson (Shippensburg University) for the 2022 season. Mark begins his second season with the Express and will compete for a spot in the DB/WR rotation as well as on special teams. 

Mark did a great job for us last season and played a major role in our GDFL National Championship season as well as our victory in the USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Bowl Game. 

Mark is a graduate of Milton Hershey, HS where he was a 2 sport stand out in football and track. Mark was a member of the 4x400 relay team that was a national gold medalist (NY). Johnson was a District Champion, Conference Champion, was an all state selection and his 4x400 relay team took the silver medal at states breaking the Milton Hershey school record which had stood for 27 years. In football Mark was a two time team captain and played a year at Shippensburg University.
