The Erie Express are pleased to announce the addition of 4x All-Pro LB-Deangelo James (Tiffin University) for the 2021 season. D'Angelo begins his first season with the Express and looks to earn a spot in the defensive rotation as a linebacker/edge rusher.

James is  graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School (Akron, Ohio) and played his college ball for Tiffin University.

James may be new to the Express but he is no rookie to this level of play. He is a 6 year veteran and has earned All-Pro accolades in four of those seasons. James has helped lead the Ohio Broncos (OFL) and Canton Pitbulls (PAFL) to their championship games. In addition he has played for the Ohio Storm and Ohio Gladiators. James averages 16.5 sacks per season with a league best 29.5 in 2017.
