"Ashton has been one of our main guys for so many years it has been very odd not having him around. We are beyond happy to see him back in an Express uniform. The leadership he brings on and off the field is unmatched. He has been an All-Pro. Team Captain, Man of the Year winner and GDFL Defensive Player of the Year (2021) All of those accolades speak to who he is. A born leader who now works to give these same types of opportunities to our youth.
