2x All-Pro De'Airus Goodwine looks to add another ring in 2023

The Erie Express are happy to announce the return of 2x All-Pro WR De'Airus Goodwine (East, HS) for the 2023 season. Pug begins his tenth season with the Express and returns as a starter in the WR rotation and on special teams.

This past season season we were crowned USA Bowl Summer Division National Champions, won our Division in the GDFL for the fourth year in a row and qualified for the GDFL National Playoffs for the seventh year in a row. In January of 2023 we headed to Daytona Beach, FL to face the Minneapolis Warriors in the USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Game. (17-20 loss) The above mentioned team accolades, Pug had a direct hand in making possible.

Goodwine had an amazing 2021 season and played a major role in our winning the 2021 GDFL National Championship as well as the 2022 USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship.

On the season Goodwine accounted for 556 total yards of offense. 7 carries for 54 yards, 17 receptions for 336 yards and 4 touchdowns, 17 kick returns for 166 yards and recorded 4 tackles. For his efforts he was named GDFL All-Pro for the season.

De'Airus is the last remaining player from our first season (Erie Outlaws GIFA Champions) in 2011.

During the 2014 season, playing with the Oil Region Rampage, Goodwine hauled in 66 receptions for 1500 yards and 16 TDs. In addition to his offense production he was also used as a defensive back recording 4 INT's 2 of which he returned for TD's. For his efforts he was named SPF All-Pro.
