Aside from his full time job, Brandon also holds down the duties of Head Coach for football, girls tennis and basketball. His plate is beyond full and on his free days he chooses to put on an Express uniform and rock with us. All-Pro OL-Devonne Barnes (Indiana University of PA

Devonne begins his second season with the Express and is a returning starter on the offensive line.

In his first season as a member of the Express, Barnes helped pave the way for All-Pro RB-Shannon Jackson (2nd in league rushing) and QB-Brandon Hanna (3rd in league rushing, league leader in rushing TDs and GDFL Player of the Year). Our offense was one of the most productive in the GDFL last season and it was in large part due to the protection provided from Devonne. We made it to the Xtreme Conference Finals for the second year in a row and Devonne was a huge reason for our teams success. For his efforts Barnes was named GDFL All-Pro in his rookie season.
Barnes graduated from Cathedral Prep High School in Erie, PA. While there Barnes was a three year letter winner, twice named All-Region and earned All-State honors his Senior year. He just kept getting better as the season went along. Passionate about his craft and wanting to see his team and teammates succeed. Barnes always wants to go against the best our opponent has to offer and always rises to whatever challenge they present. Without a doubt one of the hardest hitting safeties in the nation earning the nickname "Smash" for a VERY good reason. He never hesitates to help a fellow teammate out, leads by example and brings that veteran work ethic that is demanded from all. I would have to say the thing I love the most about him is the fact that, although one of the best to play the position, he never feels the need to tell others how good he is. Rather he lets his opponents speak for him, that is top shelf.
