The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of DL-Derick Nolen (McDowell, HS) for the 2022 season. Derick begins his first season with us and will look to earn a spot on the defensive line rotation and on special teams. 

Nolen is a graduate of McDowell High School and has stayed active after graduation in power lifting and rugby.  

Derick attended our open combine and he impressed the coaches at the combine with his size, power and quickness. 

"Derick has been working hard in our pre season sessions. He has great size and quickness and is eager to earn his place on the team. His positive attitude and his athletic ability are a great combination to have. We are very happy to have him on board with us and are excited to see what he can do in an Express uniform"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
