Erie Express sign 9x All Pro OL-Rob Daft for 2023

by Erie Express Media

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of 9x All-Pro OL-Rob Daft (Brashear and Carrick High Schools) for the 2023 season. Rob begins his first season with us and will compete for a spot in the offensive line rotation.

Rob may be new to the Express but he by no means is a rookie. Daft has played with the Pittsburgh Pride from 2007-2014 starting every game at left tackle from his rookie season. While with the Pride, Daft was named All-Pro multiple times as well as team captain.

Daft later joined the WPA Wildcatz where he was part of 4 National Championship Bowl Games. Rob helped lead the Wildcatz to a pair of titles in 2016 and 2017. Rob also helped WPA claim a pair of League Titles as well in 2016 and 2019 and has served as team captain also.

Daft is a 9x All-Pro selection in the USFA, HFL and PAFL. Rob was named to the 2017 National Elite Team.

"We are very happy to have Rob on board with us. He has been a thorn in our side for multiple years so it's nice to have him in an Express uniform this time around. Rob has a great team first attitude and is a proven winner. We are blessed to have him with us this season and are expecting great things from him in 2023"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
