LB/TE-Josh Nelson returns for 2022

The Erie Express are happy to announce the return of LB/TE-Josh Nelson (Conneaut Valley, HS) for the 2022 season. Josh begins his third season with the Express and will compete for a rotation spot at linebacker and on special teams. 

Josh played a major role in our undefeated 2021 season. We finished as GDFL National Champions and started this season off as USA Bowl Summer Division National Champions.  

Josh is a graduate of Conneaut Valley High School. While there Nelson was a three year letter winner on the varsity football team and earned a pair of varsity letters on the basketball team as well. The Indians qualified for the playoffs in three of Josh's seasons there.

Josh is a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard and we appreciate his choice to serve our great state and country.
