OL-Devonne Barnes earns Rookie of the Year for 2019 season

Congratulations to OL-Devonne Barnes (Indiana University of PA) on being named Erie Express Offensive Rookie of the Year for the 2019 season. Devonne played a major role in our reaching the Conference Finals for the third season in a row.

In his first season as a member of the Express Barnes helped pave the way for All-Pro RB-Shannon Jackson (2nd in league rushing) and QB-Brandon Hanna (3rd in league rushing, league leader in rushing TDs). Our offense was one of the most productive in the GDFL this season and it was in large part due to the protection provided from Devonne. For his efforts Barnes was also named GDFL All-Pro as a rookie.
