Nasir did an amazing job for us last season and played a major role in our 2024 TPFL Championship game appearance. We finished the season 11-2 and received an invite to the I-75 Pro Advancement Bowl (3-6 loss against the Sheboygan County Sabercats).

We also accepted the invite on January 18th to compete for a National Championship against the defending National Champion; Indy Bison in the USA Bowl in Daytona, FL. (0-41 Loss) Nasir played a major role in those team accolades as well!
In 2022 we were crowned USA Bowl Summer Division National Champions, won our Division in the GDFL for the fourth year in a row and qualified for the GDFL National Playoffs for the seventh year in a row. In January of 2023 we headed to Daytona Beach, FL to face the Minneapolis Warriors in the USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Game. (17-20 loss) The above mentioned team accolades, Nasir had a direct hand in making possible.

Nasir has spent many seasons with the Express prior to putting on a uniform. Singleton is the Nephew of current Erie Express Head Coach Mike McKinnon, a former All-Pro linebacker for us as well. Nasir has helped us on the sidelines for many years prior to putting on a jersey. He has seen first hand what is expected from an Express player and has delivered every year he has worn the jersey.

A standout at General McLane high school, Nasir earned 1st team All-Region accolades his senior year racking up over 1700 all purpose yards with 17 touchdowns. For his efforts he was selected to play in the annual Save an Eye All Star Game. Nasir played his college ball for Walsh University.

"Nas has cemented himself into a spot as one of our all time greats at play maker. He can made an immediate impact at multiple positions. He has a great team first attitude and the team respects him. He is a blessing to have around and his impact on our team speaks for itself. We are blessed to have him back and are expecting yet another amazing season from him in 2026"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
