FORMER NORTHWESTERN STANDOUT, ERIC DOOR RETURNS FOR 2026

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of TE-Eric Dorr (Allegheny College) for the 2026 season. Eric begins his second season with the Express and will look to earn a spot in the offensive rotation as a tight end and on special teams.

Eric last played for us in 2024 and played a major role in helping to get us to the TPFL Championship Game and a bid to play in Florida for a National Championship in the USA Bowl.

Eric did a nice job for us in 2024 but an injury cut his season short. He is back healthy now and ready to help lead us to a PAFL Championship and National Bowl Game invitation.

Eric is a graduate of Northwestern, HS in Albion , PA. While there he helped to lead the Wildcats to back to back undefeated regular season records and a pair of Region titles! Eric was selected as an All-Region TE as a Senior and was selected to play in both the North South All-Star game as well as the Save an Eye All-Star game.

Eric played one season of college ball at Allegheny College where he started 8 games on special teams.

"Eric is a local guy who has built a reputation as a hard nosed tough player. He proved in 2024 that reputation is not just talk. He is back healthy this year and ready to lead us to another championship. We are blessed to have him on board again are expecting great things from him in 2026"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
