LB-Lamarcus Thomas signs for 2023

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of LB-Lamarcus Thomas (Garfield, HS) for the 2023 season. Thomas begins his first season with the Express and will compete for a spot in the starting LB rotation and on special teams.

Thomas is a graduate of Garfield High School (Ohio) where he was a standout player of the football team where he was named the Defensive MVP.

Lamarcus may be in his first season with the Express but by no means is he a rookie. Thomas has played professionally for the Northeast Ohio Silverbacks and Akron Canton Pitbulls. Thomas helped lead both teams to championships and appearances in National Championship Bowl Games in Florida (USA BOWL and SUNSHINE BOWL). 

Last season with the Pitbulls, Lamarcus led the team with 17.5 sacks, recorded a team record 5 in a game and led the Pitbulls to an undefeated season and a PFL Championship.
