The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of LB-James Zigler (Central Tech) for the 2022 season. James begins his second season with the Express and returns as one of our starting special teams leaders.
James first season in an Express uniform turned out to be an amazing one as he helped lead the way to our first ever National Championship. James played a major role for us on special teams as well as at the linebacker position.
James is a graduate of Erie Central Tech, HS. While playing for the Falcons, James was a three year starter and letter winner and was also named Co Captain. James coaches for Trojan Youth Athletics, and has been in coaching and performance training for the last 4 yrs. Zigler owns a perfect 3-0 record as an MMA fighter as well.

James has played professionally indoors for the Pittsburg Riverrats of the AIFL.

James was as coachable a player as you could ask for, did his job exactly as was asked and never complained. His unselfishness and ability to perform under pressure only made those around him that much better. James is a proven winner and his leadership helped pave the way for our first ever perfect season and National Championship.
