The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of LB-Dion Williams (Strong Vincent, HS) for the 2023 season. Dion begins his second season with the Express and is one of or returning starters on special teams and looks to earn a spot in the linebacker rotation.

Dion did an amazing job for us last season and helped us secure our fourth consecutive division title and qualify for the GDFL National Playoffs. In January we will headed to Daytona Beach, FL to face off against the Minneapolis Warriors in the USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Bowl Game (20-17 loss). The above mentioned team accolades were made possible in part due to Dion's amazing efforts.

Williams is a graduate of Strong Vincent, HS where he played fullback and linebacker for the Colonials.

We have no concerns when he is out there as he does what he is supposed to every time and with great energy. Dion is very coachable and has a team first mentality.
