KAI RILEY BACK ON BOARD FOR 2026 SEASON

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of ATH-Malakiah Riley (Erie First Christian Academy) for the 2026 season. Riley begins his second season with the Express and will compete for a spot in the starting rotation at wide receiver, defensive back or on special teams.

Kai did a great job for us last season and played a major role in our PAFL playoff appearance.

Kai is a graduate of Erie First Christian Academy where he was a standout on their basketball team. He played football for the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers. Kai was a varsity letter winner and was selected as an all star. Kai also played in the Save an Eye All-Star game as a senior.

"Kai did a very nice job for us last season. He played wherever we asked and did so at a high level. He can catch, hold block and tackle and does it all with a team first mentality. We like guys like that and are blessed to have him back on board with us. We are expecting an amazing season from him in 2026 "-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
