Express sign Veteran OL-Bob Hammer for 2023

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the the signing of veteran offensive lineman Bob Hammer (Mercyhurst University) for the 2023 season. Bob begins his first season with the Express and is a projected starter on the offensive line.

Bob may be new to the Express but he is by no means a rookie to the game. Bob brings with him 10 years of Pro indoor experience including 2 championships with the Erie Explosion. Bob was also part of 2 National Championships and 3 league championships with the WPA Wildcatz. Bob has experience playing every position on the lines and at fullback. 

Bob saw his first action in an Express uniform in January as we played for our third National Championship in the USA Bowl in Daytona Beach, FL.

When the chips are down players like that find a way to win and help those around them to weather the storm. Bob has won multiple championships indoors and outdoors. Hammer is also doing an amazing job as a coach for Mercyhurst Prep football team!
