Express lose back to back | First time since 2016

by Erie Express Media

Thank you Fire for a hard fought game and we wish you all the best the remainder of your season...minus one game of course.
Your Erie Express dropped to 1-2 on the season after tonight's 26-29 loss to the Fire in Columbus, Ohio. This is the first time since weeks 4 and 5 of the 2016 season that the Express have lost back to back games (Celtics 50-22, Cobras 25-10)  Erie had the lead with 1:18 left to play up 26-23 but the Fire marched 80 yards to score the winning touchdown with :28 to play.
Erie will play again July 9 when we travel to Cleveland, OH to face the Rams. Stay with us Express fans....we're down...but we are NOT out yet! GO EXPRESS!
