Express announce the signing of DL-Zsolt Bonyai

 Express are happy to announce the signing of DL-Zsolt Bonyai 

The Erie Express are happy to announce the signing of DL-Zsolt Bonyai (Erie East, HS) for the 2021 season. Zsolt begins his first season with the Express and will compete for a spot on the defensive line and special teams.

Bonyai was a three sport athlete for the Warriors competing in football, track and cross country. After graduation Zsolt served his country for 6 years as a member of the US Army and is an Iraq war veteran.

Zsolt attended our open combine on Feb 8th and impressed our coaches with his footwork, explosive power size and ability to accept coaching.

"Z did a great job at our combine. He possess great power and size. Has good footwork and was able to make explosive cuts and get off the ball quickly. His background as a soldier speaks to his attention to detail and discipline. We are very happy to have him on board with us and are excited to see what he can do in an Express uniform.
