EXPRESS ADD OL/DL AUSTIN HELM

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the addition of OL/DL-Austin Heim (Lakeview, HS) for the 2026 season. Austin begins his first season with the Express and will compete for a spot in the offensive or defensive line rotation as well as special teams.

Austin is a graduate from Lakeview High School where he was a 4 year lettermen and starter for the Sailors. Austin finished his career there as a team captain and was also on the track and basketball teams.

Austin attended our open tryout and impressed the coaches with his size and desire to improve his craft. Austin has a great team first mentality and has been working hard in our OTA's.

"Austin gives us added depth on both the offensive and defensive line. Last season it was tough forcing guys to play both ways due to lack of commitment from some. Austin has looked well so far in pre season workout sessions and we are looking forward to seeing him in action"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
