Erie Express Re-Sign DB-Nate Harris

by Erie Express Media

Erie Express are happy to announce the return of DB-Nate Harris (University of Findlay) for the 2020 season. Nate begins his second season with the Express and is a returning starter in our defensive secondary.

Nate is a graduate from Akron Buchtel, HS (OH). While there he had a stellar high school athletic career. A three year starter and letterman, Nate played a major role in Buchtel's state runner up finish. In Track and Field, Harris was a two time state champion in the 100 (10.74) and 200 (21.93).

Nate played his college ball at Laney College and the University of Findlay. While a Laney, Nate was named All-Conference and was selected as one of the top DB's in the state of California. Harris later participated in the Spring League and played alongside former Heisman Trophy Winner Johny Manziel.

"Nate came on last season late, missed a few games due to an injury but played a major role in our team making it to the conference championship game. Nate plays with a lot of heart and passion. His speed is out of this world and he is a dynamic play maker on both sides of the ball. We plan on using him on offense as well this season. Great attitude, great athlete, just an all around great person to be around. We are blessed to have him back this season and are expecting a breakout year for him in 2020"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.

Nate is a GDFL verified Pro Prospect. Interested pro indoor or outdoor teams are invited to contact the GDFL or the Erie Express directly for film and stats.
