DL- Javontae Broome signs with Express for 2022 season

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of veteran DL- Javontae Broome (Barberton, HS) for the 2022 season. Broome begins his first season with the Express but is far from a rookie.
Javontae is a graduate of Barberton, HS where he was a standout athlete for the Magics. Since graduation Broome has stayed active in the game he loves. He has 8 years of experience having played previously for the Akron Raging Raptors, Ohio Broncos for 3 years where he was a member of the 2017 Broncos OFL Championship runner up squad. Broome played for the Northeast Ohio Silverbacks in 2018 and 2019 and played a role in the Silverbacks winning the PAFL T2 Championship in 2019.  Broome led the 2017 Broncos 2018 , 2019 Silverbacks in special team tackles won 4 conference championships."Javontae is a proven winner. He has the ability to play and produce in all three phases of the game. Guys like this are hard to find. He has won many championships and knows what it takes to bring home the hardware.
