DEFENSIVE LINEMAN DARRYN KALICKY RETURNS FOR 2026

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of OL/DL-Darryn Kallicky (Girard, HS) for the 2026 season. Darryn begins his third season with the Express and will look to earn a spot on the offensive or defensive line rotations, as well as special teams.

Darren was limited last season but is 100% this year and ready to make an impact for us.

Darryn did an amazing job for us during the 2024 season and played a major role in our TPFL Championship game appearance. We finished the season 11-2 and received an invite to the I-75 Pro Advancement Bowl (3-6 loss against the Sheboygan County Sabercats).

We also accepted the invite on January 18th 2025 to compete for a National Championship against the defending National Champion; Indy Bison in the USA Bowl in Daytona, FL. (0-41 Loss) Darryn played a major role in those team accolades as well!

Darryn is a graduate of Girard High School where he was a standout on the football team for the Yellow Jackets. Kallicky was a three year letter winner, two year starter and First Team All-Region selection. He was invited to play in the 82nd Annual Save an Eye All-Star Game.

"Darryn did a great job for us in 2024 but was limited last season. He has a great team first mindset this year and looks to be in great shape. He moved well at the tryout and is healthy and ready to bring another championship home to Erie. We are blessed to have him back on board and are expecting a breakout year from him in 2026"-Director of Operations Paul Pennington.
