DB-Marlon Tyree named Defensive Back of the Year for the 2019 season

Congratulations to DB-Marlon Tyree (Slippery Rock University) on being named Erie Express Defensive Back of the Year for the 2019 season. In his first season in an Express uniform, Tyree made an immediate impact in our overall team success and appearance in our third straight conference finals. For the season Tyree racked up some amazing numbers with 39 tackles, 3 tackles for loss (-9yds), 5 pass breakups, 1 fumble recovery and a team leading 7 interceptions. Tyree led the GDFL during the playoffs with 5 interceptions. For his efforts, Marlon was named GDFL All-Pro for the 2019 season.
