Dapper Don's sponsors ATH-DON HEIDELBERG FOR 2021 

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the signing of DB-Don Heidelberg (Cathedral Prep,) for the 2021 season. Don begins his first season with the Express and will compete for a spot in the secondary and on special teams.

Don is a graduate of Cathedral Prep High School in Erie, PA. While there he was a member of the football, wrestling and track teams. In football, Heidelberg lettered all four years of high school (1 at Strong Vincent and 3 with Cathedral Prep). Don scored the first touchdown by a Prep player at the new Dollinger Field and was named All-Region as a Senior. Don helped lead the Ramblers to the state semi finals. In wrestling Don was a District and State qualifier and finished fifth in the state as a Senior. Heidelberg also was a district and state qualifier in track and field.

"Don has been doing a great job during our pre season sessions. He has been making big plays at practice which is normally a good indicator that he will make them in the games. He comes from a strong high school program, performed at a high level in everything he has done thus far.
