All-Pro DB-Kameron Rubin returns for 2022

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of All-Pro DB-Kameron Rubin (Ohio University) for the 2022 season. Kameron begins his second season with the Express and returns as one of our starters in the defensive secondary.  

Last season Kam played a major role in our finishing the season undefeated and as GDFL National Champions. Kam helped us kick off the 2022 season with a victory in the 2022 USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Bowl Game.  

For the season Kameron recorded 11 tackles, finished second on the team with 4 interceptions for 40 yards and a team high 8 pass break ups. For his efforts he was named GDFL All-Pro for the season. 

Kameron is a graduate of Akron Saint Vincent Saint Mary High School and played his college ball at Ohio University. Rubin was a part of the 2009 OHSAA State Championship Basketball team at SVSM. 

Rubin is 6 year veteran with stops at the Ohio Legends, Ohio Broncos and NEO Ohio Silverbacks. Rubin has helped lead the Broncos to the OFL league championship game as well as the SiIverbacks to the PAFL T2 Championship and a National Bowl Game appearance. 

In his 3 seasons with the Silverbacks Kameron recorded 65 tackles, 21 INT's and 4 touchdowns.
