All-Pro OL-Lyron McCleeney returns for 2021 season

 Express announce the return of All-Pro OL-Lyron McCleeney

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of 6'3-310 All-Pro OL-Lyron McCleeney (Arkansas Pine Bluff) for the 2021 season. Lyron begins his second season with the Express and is a projected starter on the offensive line. Lyron will also see reps on the defensive side of the ball as well. 

Lyron graduated from Norland, HS in Miami, FL Lyron where he was an All-Dade County performer for the Vikings. McCleeney began his college career at Arkansas Baptist College before finishing his college career as an All-SWAC performer at Arkansas Pine Bluff. McCleeney had several stops in the CFL and was invited to the San Diego Chargers (NFL) Rookie Mini Camp. 

Lyron played last season for the Western NY Mustangs of the NFA where he helped lead the Mustangs to the playoffs. Prior to joining the Express McCleeney was a member of the two time National Champion South Buffalo Celtics. Lyron last played for the Express in the 2017 season and helped lead us to the PAFL Stars Division Championship Game.
