5x All-Pro LB Cam Sanders returns for 2025 season

The Erie Express are happy to announce the return of 5x All-Pro LB-Cameron Sanders (Fullerton College) for the 2025 season. Cameron begins his sixth season with the Express and is a returning starter at linebacker and a team captain.

Last season, Cam finished second in the TPFL in solo tackles during the regular season with 35. For the year, Cam finished with 67 tackles, 10 tackles for loss (-57 yards), 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 blocked kick, 8 pass breakups, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions and a touchdown. 

Cam did an amazing job for us and played a major role in our TPFL Championship game appearance. We finished the season 11-2 and received an invite to the I-75 Pro Advancement Bowl.

We also accepted the invite in January to compete for a National Championship in the USA Bowl in Daytona, FL. Cam played a major role in those team accolades!

For his efforts during the 2024 season Cam was named TPFL All-Pro (His 5th All-Pro selection) as well as Express Linebacker of the Year.

Cam was named GDFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2022.


In 2022 we were crowned USA Bowl Summer Division National Champions, won our Division for the fourth year in a row and qualified for the GDFL National Playoffs for the seventh year in a row. In January of 2023 we headed to Daytona Beach, FL to face the Minneapolis Warriors in the USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship Game. (17-20 loss) The above mentioned team accolades, Cam had a direct hand in making possible.

Cam played a major role in our winning the 2021 GDFL National Championship as well as the 2022 USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship.


For the season Cam finished with a team high 67 tackles, 13 tackles for loss (-80yds), 6 sacks, 3 caused fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception returned 21 yards and 4 pass breakups. Sanders led the GDFL in tackles during both the regular season and playoffs. For his efforts Sanders earned GDFL All-Pro status as well as being named Erie Express Linebacker of the Year.

Cam is a graduate of Central Tech, HS in Erie, PA. While at Central he was a standout on the football field and track for the Falcons. Sanders was selected to play in the Save an Eye All-Star Game and played his college ball at Fullerton College.
