2X NATIONAL CHAMPION KENNETH LEVERT RETURNS FOR 2025

The Erie Express are pleased to announce the return of RB-Ken Levert (Mentor, HS) for the 2025 season. Ken begins his fourth season with the Express and returns as one of our starting specialists and in the running back rotation.

Ken did an amazing job for us last season and played a major role in our 2024 TPFL Championship game appearance. We finished the season 11-2 and received an invite to the I-75 Pro Advancement Bowl (3-6 loss against the Sheboygan County Sabercats).

We also accepted the invite on January 18th to compete for a National Championship against the defending National Champion; Indy Bison in the USA Bowl in Daytona, FL. (0-41 Loss) Ken played a major role in those team accolades as well!

Ken has done an amazing job for us and played a major role in our winning both the 2021 GDFL National Championship as well as the 2022 USA Bowl Summer Division National Championship. For his efforts during the 2021 season Ken was awarded the Erie Express Offensive Rookie of the Year award by his coaches and teammates.

Levert is a graduate of Mentor, HS in Ohio. While there he was a four year member of the football team earning three varsity letters and being named the 12th man. Ken wrestled his senior year and also ran track competing in the 100, 200, 4x100 and 4x200 relays.
